The Space
The house sported a decidedly outdated design, its layout a labyrinth of rooms that stifled any sense of flow. The space held immense potential, a hidden gem waiting to be unearthed by a visionary renovation. Years without upgrades had left the house yearning for some love and attention; it was far from a home that could inspire affection from its residents.
The Ask
The current furniture arrangement simply wasn't conducive to the family's evolving lifestyle. Their primary goal was to transform the space into a haven, fostering a sense of togetherness and encouraging them to spend quality time within its walls. To achieve this, they craved unique design elements that would elevate their home to a boutique hotel aesthetic, yet retain a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The Result
The once-unified lobby was strategically divided into three distinct zones: a dedicated dining area, a comfortable living space, and a dedicated reading corner featuring a captivating swing as the centerpiece of the room. The main living room transformed into a vibrant tapestry of colors and patterns, injecting the space with personality and life. We breathed new life into the old doors and incorporated elegant arches throughout, adding a touch of architectural intrigue. In the bedroom, a captivating forest mural transports you to a tranquil oasis. Even the previously challenging, cramped washroom underwent a remarkable transformation, now boasting a luxurious hotel-like ambiance.
