The Space

The existing kitchen presented a significant challenge. Water damage had taken its toll, leaving surfaces compromised. Years of cooking had left a visible film of grease on the walls, and the cramped layout limited maneuverability for even two cooks. Additionally, the lack of dedicated appliance space and limited storage solutions severely hindered functionality.

The Ask

Years of navigating the confines of their tiny kitchen had ignited a fervent desire for expansive living in the clients' hearts. Their vision was a haven bathed in natural light and fresh air, boasting an open layout that provided ample room for culinary adventures and creative expression. They yearned for a minimalist kitchen design, infused with a touch of bohemian flair, ready to be adorned with flourishing greenery.

The Result

Translating the client's vision into reality, we embarked on a design odyssey to craft a kitchen that embodied minimalism. The space would be a haven of clean lines, free from clutter, and evoke a sense of airy ease, yet remain fully equipped for culinary exploration. To achieve this, we incorporated a discreet pocket door cabinet, neatly concealing appliances when not in use. Fostering family interaction, a pull-out tray table provided a dedicated space for shared culinary adventures. Botanical wallpaper served as a vibrant backdrop, while accents of cane and wicker wove in a touch of bohemian charm. The finishing touch? Minimal brass handles that perfectly bridged the gap between minimalist and bohemian aesthetics.
